from hy cite? i filled out some card and now FH and i won a weekend trip? anyone else get a call like this? apparently they pick 20 girls out of 2000 every week?

I've gotten the call. First I'd like to say that they did give the free trip regardless of whether or not i bought their stuff or not. However you do feel bad if you don't buy. FH and i set up an appointment . and the lady came to show us their product and lemme tell you it's very expensive. They say its cheaper than most other cookware of that quality but it's still not cheap. If you like it then by all means don't feel bad if you buy the cookware. You'll still get the vacation.

OH NO!!! Yes, you do get the trip, but it's only 2 nights, 3 days and you have to pay for your own airfare. We were told that it would only take an hour and :15 minutes and that they would cook this great meal for us, supply drinks and we would have a chance to meet other couples. We asked for an early appt. but she said they were booked. Well we got there and we were the only ones there and we could have gone earlier, but no one called us. I even told her I had a wedding to go to and asked her to call me if there were any cancellations.

We were starving thinking we would get this great meal....it was in an office building and all the lights were off when we got there. It was sketchy! The place smelled so bad I thought I was going to be sick, the guy had a wash basin to wash his hands and he didn't wear gloves. They cook on hot plates. I didn't want to eat anything..he did cook, but did not give us this great meal we were promised. We shared a sample of each thing he cooked. As soon as we got there we told him we had a wedding to go to...after and hour and a 1/2 I told him we had to go....he kept going...after another 10 minutes I was getting mad, he kept saying, oh but wait, but wait...I got up, put my jacket on and told him I was leaving...he gave us the trip, but you have to mail in $60.00 right away to reserve.

FH was great, he was laughing at me the entire time cause he never wanted to go in the first place...he thought it was a waste of time...I owe him big!!! I did like the stuff, but you had to buy right then and there to get the special price.

If you have the time to go, then I guess it's worth the trip, but it was a waste of our time.

apparently they make you feel guilty for not buying things, i've got enough guilt issues, i dont need some cook wear company making it worse.

i've gotten the same call almost 15 times now...wait until the calls come from american laser centers...they called me THREE times a day for 2 weeks straight...GRRRRRRR
