I Won!!! Have you been to Wyndahm resorts? ** UPDATE**

Well, a little while ago FI and I received a call that we won an all inclusive honeymoon at one of the wyndahm resorts either in the bahamas, dominican, or mexico. Its only for 3 days 2 nights but they add on at a discounted price! I am so excited! Anyway, has anyone ever heard of these resorts? They look really nice online just wondering if I can get some REAL reviews.

UPDATE
So last night we went to the hotel and had to watch an hour cooking show which let me tell you - I learned so much about cookware and everything! It was amazing actually so was their product. However, we didnt buy anything because my FI friend works with them as well and is getting us a very good discount. So we walked out without buying from them and it was legit. We had NO obligation to buy although so many couples did. Afterwards we got our trip vouture WITH NO BLACK OUT DATES. So I look forward to it. We are not going for our honeymoon we are going to go for 3 nights in November. Anyway, just wanted to report back.

i got the same call today. they said we have to come and view their products yadda yadda. i told them no thank you. she said they drew my name from a recent bridal show. i was like oh ok at first until she said my old wedding date thsts when i knew something was up. since we had changed our wedding date back in september.

hmmm I guess I will find out. They mentioned the bridal show too. My FI remembered registering at the Simplicity Brides booth with the china display. We are checking it out but I wont get my hopes up.

We are going to the cooking display and they said that we dont have to buy a thing. So, I'll keep you posted on how legit it is.

I got the same phone call. I never pursued it though because they said I won at a bridal show but I never went to one. It was from Royal Prestige.

They scheduled us for a cooking show on Sunday.

Hey if it is legit I can sit and watch a cooking show for 90 minutes since we said no vacation this year because we have to save.

the trip is legit - if you do what they want you too (products, shows, etc)

I hate to break it to you but I too thought it was legit until I heard it's all a scam, they basically try to get you to come see their products which I believe is cookware and you have to spend a certain amount...it's been a while but whatever it was it was so not worth the trip.

Is it Prestige Awards or something like that?

I got that same call back in October at the last LI Bridal show-so did my friend that I went with. We both decided not to go look at the cookware because it seemed very sketchy.

the trip is semi legit. This girl came and showed us their china and their 3K cookware and then we got the trip voucher but it was only good for 1 year, had lots of blackout dates and evenutally after choosing 6 dates and not getting anyone of them, I told them to forget it.

they told me it ws valid for two years so we will see. im going on monday at 8:30 - is anyone else?

I got that call when I first got engaged... got all excited, only to find out it was a scam. I don't know anyone who actually did it, except from these boards. Just don't get your hopes up, in case it is a scam. And DON'T BUY ANYTHING.

I do hope it works out for you, though! I don't trust anything that comes with a 'condition' for winning.
