This is similar to the hairstyle I would really like.... An updo, but not too overdone... I'm not one for lots of curls or decorations... I feel as if I will look like I'm wearing a present on the top of my head because I'm very small. Anyway, currently my hair is past my shoulders... And I refuse to cut it... I will get it trimmed a bit before the wedding, but otherwise I want it to grow long.... My hair is not that thick... How much hair do you have to have to get this style? Any girls who are already married that had a similar style? Let me know!

I';ve worn very smilar styles to that for weddings and when i was in a BP. You don't need that much hair. My hair has vaired form shoulder length to waist lenght and it's worked every time. you need less hair than you think because for most updos they put a hairpad in under your hair to get the hieght. Shoulder length hair should be fine, maybe a little longer. My sister had a smiliar style and her hair was 2-3 inches past her shoulders. good luck!

My cousin did her hair in a similar style for her wedding, and she has pretty thin hair. I think her hair was about 3-4 inches below her shoulders.
You have plenty of time to grow your hair out! It's a really pretty style!!!

I had extensions put in my hair. My hairdresser just clipped it in..no glue or having it weaved in...It looked so real I couldn't believe it. Here's a few pics!! Sorry they are not close-ups..they are all I have on my computer. Also look in my profile for a clearer shot..

If you need more fullness you can wear a 'ratt' which is this thing a hairdresser wraps your own hair around to make it look like you have more than you do. But you would be surprised what talented hairdressers can do with your own hair..you just have to find the right one.

I had a similar style and my hair is thin so on the reccommendation of my hairdresser i bought one of those ponytail holders with fake hair and it matched perfectly, in fact the only people who knew before this post was my sister and my hairdresser. Even DH didnt know.

I would talk to the girl who will be doing your hair and show the pic. that is what i did and that is how she came up with the fake hair. here is a pic.
