Last night I went a dinner function at Stewart Manor and I couldn't make it thru the SALAD course without my stomach starting to act up. I sat the for 3 hours in pain (I stuck it out for FH to get his prize money from his bowling league).
I probbly shouldnt eat the dya of my wedding, maybe ensure drink but nothing else.
Im so annoyed about this right now

That really sucks! I'm sure that by the time of your wedding you will find a way to not be so uncomfortable. I've had some digestive issues in the past and I know how painful it can be.

So sorry to hear that! Are there certain foods that you can eat without being in pain? Is it something in particular?
Is it on-going and have you been to your doctor?

I have stomach issues too, and I'm very afraid of it acting up on my wedding day. I've been to tasting at my RH and so far so good. Hang in there, I know how unbelievably painful stomach issues are.

I hear ya!! I walk around with pills like its going out of style and I hate making plans with people to go out to eat in fear that I have to leave. I plan to eat whole wheat bread for days before lol
I hope yours will improve before your big day!!

Exactly this....this is one thing that gives me such anxiety for the wedding day!!! I'm so nervous my nerves and everything else are gonna make my stomach be a mess and I won't be able to eat :( I totally understand and feel your pain...My stomach issues have gotten in the way of so much and I just want them to be behind me once and for all!!

Have you had your tasting at the RH yet? Maybe wait for that and see how your stomach acts. If it feels crummy then, maybe go to your pharmacy and see what you could take to counteract the symptoms.

Hang in there!!!! Talk with your RH - I am sure they can accomodate you with the foods that you can eat without upsetting your stomach. You shouldn't have to worry about not being able to eat on your special day.

I used to have really bad stomach issues, my dr wanted to test me for IBS, but I was too scared to have them put that camera down my throat. I started going for reflexology, and the issues went away for the most part. Now it's only if I'm really anxious, or if I eat certain things (dairy)

The day we book with JT - we had a food tasting but my stomach was having issues that day too. My dad and FH only got to eat.
I had all the test they can give. The conclusions are: 1. I am lactose intolerate 2. I have coltis 3. I have wheat/flour allegery (I have to eat gluten-free for life) 4. I have IBS
5. FML x 4 LOL
I will have a case of ensure that day. I am okay with that.

I feel for you, I really do. I have stomach issues as well (also lactose intolerant) and my biggest fear is having a flare up at my own wedding, at the reception, and having to run to the bathroom in my dress! Obviously, since you are the bride, JT should be able to make some sort of dietary accommodations for you. Even if its just a simple dish, you should at least ask. It is your wedding, and you sould be able to enjoy something served by JT!

whats wrong with your stomach?? Ive been so worried about my headaches , im so glad i went to try acupuncture the other day bc i believe they'll finally be fixed . Maybe try another dr?? You should be able to eat and enjoy your day!!

I am worried as well, even more because the wedding is late in the day and I need to make sure I don't eat anything that will cause' issues to my stomach! I have IBS, am lactose intolerant and need Beano for oily foods (like Chinese fried rice). I would suggest doing a trial run to see what foods will aggravate you that day. I take lactaid pills for anything dairy, and Beeno as I stated above for any foods I am not sure about or know is cooked with too much oil. I am also a JT bride, they should be able to help. I also went to a wedding recently at JT (in the Oak room) and was okay with the food as long as I took my pills. Do the test run, that is what I will be doing to make sure I have no flair ups. Let me know how it goes. GOOD LUCK!
