im totally jealous.. since iknow FH and i will NEVER be able to buy a house here i would go there tomorrow but FH is in NYPD so it STINKS!!!!! hell never move... but good luck your going to love it there!

Awww.... I understand the stinkiness of that! But you never know - one day you might be able to! Wouldn't he get to retire early (wow talking about FH's retiring! ) though? I'm not totally sure how that works, but I know my dad could have retired after 20 years I think??

Good for you guys trying to get to 1000. Me too. I havent been on in such a long time though. I have been so busy.

I am really excited though becuase on the 29th me and fiance are moving out of his parents house and into the new apartment complex that is being built in holbrook. I am not sure if you are from the area, but they are insane.

well to start I'm going to move into his apt and i think we are going to upgrade to a 2 bedroom at some point. we'll be renting for now!

But we'll be relocating again in 2years after he finishes the residency. Probably to the east coast of NC so probably then buy a house!

its alot to live here, soemtimes stressful. My parents have been giving us grief for the amount we are spending on the apartment, but you know what, it is a gorgous place, and for what we could spend on a huose, we would be in the dumps. plus, who really wants to worry about matnance, taxes. and whatever else is involved. not me. it si soooooo much easier. we eventually will move down south somewhere...but not for another five or more years

Wow - I have 300 sqft or so and pay half that though - but it is the city. Gotta love living in a shoebox!!
