I am posting a picture of my wedding band. It's horrible. It looks like an easter egg. I don't think you can tell from the pic. The guy we got it from retired. The second pic is what I really want. All I need is for someone to reset the stones.
I would preferre it if the jeweler was a relative of yours or a long time close family member. I am very nervous about leaving the ring bc the stones are excellent quality and you always hear stories how they switch stones. Believe it or not I don't know anyone. No one in my family is in jewels. Can you gals recommend someone? Thank you so much!!!
Herricks Jewlers on Jericho Tpk is very trustoworthy and honest. they have their regular jewlwer and then a specialist who comes in once a week to do the more difficult work. go on a monday morning and see what they say, they will be honest and reasonable.

FM me, I can tell you where my engagement ring was reset in the city..beautiful job..very trustworthy...
If your willing to travel to north jersey I have a great jewelr... FH's family has used him for eons... very reliable , friendly and trustworthy... but i think its a little too far but kevin's great!

I have been using Bunty's in Commack to do anything with my ring. I was recommended to them from a few people who have used them for many years. I think they are extremely trustworthy and upfront honest.

Nic, Sorry you don't like your ring. I personally think it is gorgeous! If I didn't have one already I would buy it from you! Maybe you could attempt to sell it (ebay) if you can't find a jeweler. GL

Madaloni Jewlers on Jericho Tpk in Commack. Very honest and trustworthy people. I have not dealt with them personally, but my sister has a bunch of times.

I think it is beautiful, but if it is not what you want, try Elsa's. They are recommend on this site. You will not have to leave your ring. I'm getting my w-ring made there and they took a mold of my e-ring. I went in the back and watched so my ring was always in site.
Thanks everyone for your help! Just so you guys don't think i'm a brat The ring is gorgeous but, you can't tell by the pic, it's shaped like an easter egg. FH hates it too. If it was normal and round it wouldn't be a problem but where the diamonds are it stick up in the air.

Definitely try Elsa's - that's where I got my e-ring and they're making my wedding band. They're really great. Very trustworthy - it's a couple that owns it together. Really sweet.

Gennaro Jewelers in Bellmore, they are a very good friends with FILs and I wouldnt trust my ring to anyone else!!! FM me if you want their info.

How about Gross' on Franklin Ave in Garden City? My friend went there. They do a great job!

Golden touch in Floral park. They are great. Fh buys all jewelrey there. 4 of our friends that got engaged bought the rings there as well. he will def. be honest with you. I call and first thing he says beofre i say my name is.. is this seans fiance. lol that must be bad when the jeweler knows who you are on the phone.
