My Fiance and I have been planning to go to New Zealand, Australia and possbily Fiji for our Honeymoon. The airline is able to add Tokyo and Guam as extended connection layovers, one going and the other coming back.
Now the thing is, I have always wanted to go to Ibiza. One of my Fiance's relatives has a timeshare that can be used worldwide. They gifted us with a week at an Ibiza resort. All we would have to do is get airplane tickets.
Fiance is not interested in taking a plane to Spain and then around to the other side of the world to do all the stops in Oceana and Asia. It's either all those countries or Ibiza and and another place or two nearish by like Malta with a stopover in Milan.
What would you pick??

I would say do the New Zealand/Japan, etc. trip. This is my reasoning: your HM is supposed to be the trip of a lifetime, right? My rule with planning mine is it has to be someplace I would never take my kids. You would probably never take such an extended trip with a family in tow. Well, I don't know, maybe you would, but I wouldn't. That being said, I know Ibiza is not a place for families either as it is a huge party scene. I feel like you can go to Europe anytime. I don't know why I think that, probably b/c the flight is so much shorter, but if you can use that time share at any time, why use it on your HM? I say do the more exotic of the 2.

I would do New Zealand because it would be the trip of a lifetime! This is your chance to really go all out and go on an adventure and try something new and go someplace exotic. You guys can plan a vacation around Ibiza for next year or something and even visit other European cities while you're at it. New Zealand is so far away that who wants to take the flight there often, so go for it!

We are planning to go to Austrialia and possibly New Zealand as well. We were thinking of Italy as well but figured you can go to Italy anytime as it is not as long as a flight.
