They have this new place opening by my job on Friday in Woodbury called Cold Stone Creamery . My friend went there yesterday but they weren't yet opened but the guy was really nice and made ice cream for them anyways. She said it was amazing.

We'll mix your custom creation on a frozen granite stone, and heap it all into one of our famous waffle cones or waffle bowls. Better yet…how about a chocolate-dipped waffle cone or bowl for the ultimate ice cream experience!

they're opening a Cold Stone Creamery in Great Neck, too!

edited to say, i notice it's not listed in the locations section of their site, but i SWEAR i walked by it just the other day! now i gotta double check this!

Yes tomorrow is there Grand Opening. They open tomorrow at 8am and a radio station will also be there with giveaways and stuff.

I work for an engineering firm in the Crossways Park Complex - across the street from the Fox Hollow. Everytime we go out for a nice lunch with the office crew, we go to Butera's in the same shopping center.

I just read the article in today's newsday - I've got to check it out!

I just came from Cold Stone...alll I have to say is OMG. I am not an ice cream lover and this was amazing. I had the Germany chocolate cake ice cream mix in this big chocolate waffle cone bowl. It was soooo good and I shared it with hubby.

We spoke to the owner while we were there and they told us they are opening five of them on the island. They are even opening one huge one in the Source Mall right next to Cheesecake Factory.

Girls, you have to go and try it. I highly recommend it. They are also all very nice.
