Did anyone pay extra for one how much did it cost?
I am trying to negotiate with a hall and wonder if eliminating it would bring the price down (even $1/$2 a plate).

My fh wanted one and I said absolutely not. Nice idea but I found them to be too pricey. If you have more people then you originally expected you might be able to get them to throw one in for you for free...

I'm getting one that is included- if it wasn't included, I wouldn't be paying for one.

I agree...that's exactly what my hall did for me....I guaranteed more than what they were asking and because I did, they threw in an ice sculpture for free...If I didn't have one..I really wouldn't care either....

Personally, I'm not a fan of ice sculptures - but the hall threw it in (in lieu of lowering the price I guess). So, I'm too practical to skip on something that's free.
