ice sculpture

does every RH give an ice sculpture???

it seemed like a recurring thing that every place i looked at offered. my sister (MOH) & FH thinks its such a waste. so when i went with my parents to book the RH & i asked what they would give if i didn't want it & they gave me $250 additional towards my cake. i almost fell on the floor when i found out that frozen water cost $250.

needless to say i didn't get the ice sculpture.

I personally don't like them. I just have a martini ice luge. I could care less about ice sculptures so i didn't ask if they were included but I hope they are not and if they are I don't want them. Personally if i had to pay extra if i wanted them i wouldnt

i dont like typical ice sculputures and since they were free i requested certain designs. I had a NY yankees ice sculpture, it was the NY symbol and im annoyed bc this is the only thing i dont have a pic of, i am still hoping that one guest took a pic and it will show up somehow

I also had the vodkas in an ice basket, here is a pic from my wedding of the ice basket thingy or whatever its called lol

so dont feel you have to get the typical one, I LOVED our NY Yankees ice sculpture and glad i did it

yeah definitely ask them, even if its free dont feel like youre asking too much to make a request. THey still have to do it regardless ya know. I would ask for the NY giants symbol, maybe you can even keep it a secret from him and surprise him the day of, thats what I did. I didnt tell DH but he was so happy when we walked into our CH room and he saw it, he kept going up to his friends saying 'did you see the Yankees sculpture' lol

that is the one thing i am sad about, i dont have a pic lol. I had a pic online that i got my inspiration from but cant find that either. It was the NY symbol done in big letters.

It's one of the downsides...along with not being able to post pictures when I get my dress! But nevertheless, I'm happy he's on here, because he posts sweet things about me, has become friends with the other grooms, and comes with G2Gs!

You're not, there's nothing that disturbs me more than an ice sculpture LOL! No offense to those that have them, it's just personally not my style. I'm not into all the glitz and glamour. I'm having an afternoon wedding that I hope will have a cozy family-dinner style feel to it. The ice sculpture wouldn't be fit for what I want...
