so, i was looking on another forum year and noticed that some people do not give their opinions based on the brides taste, but rather their own taste (which i am sure we are all completely in that category)
And some brides really take offense, and I feel bad because, well, not everyones taste is the same....and some people get so hurt I want to hug them!
so, what if, for now on, when someone asks for an honest opinion, you also have to write your tastes, likes, dislikes, so we can best help YOUR ideas and YOUR needs? even add pictures of your likes/dislikes or make a different album?
I just want to avoid the drama that comes from other boards and maybe they can take it too.
plus, i want everyone to get the MOST out of THEIR style!

I think the idea is good....but in my opinion I think that we 09ers need to understand that when you ask for an opinion you get one and we shouldn't take offense to it. I think our boards are really good about not having hurt feelings when someone doesn't agree or has a different idea.
Lets just keep in mind that we are all really great girls who have been helping one another for so long and I don't think that any of us would be mean or make someone feel bad because of a difference of opinion.
Just my opinion!

I also agree with Little. When coming on this site you have to know that everyone has an opinion good or bad. We cant take offence if you ask for an opinion and someone doesnt like what you like.
So far the 09 board has been pretty drama free and I love it!

great idea because sometimes people will just say....

I think people need to just be more conscious about how they express their opinion. If you don't like something another bride post, a response of 'it isn't my taste' or not posting at all versus 'eww thats so ugly' will really help keep things drama free here. If you do need to express your opinion of not liking something, specifically addressing why is also helpful.

THATS what i always said! Like, if you dont like it, why? This way i know what other people will think haha...
i dont want to look like a fool walking down and in everyones head their going 'What was she thinking?' but smiling at the same time haha
