Ideas for a DAY out with the kids tomorrow???

All the kids, and their daddies are home tomorrow (JA and his cousins) and since mommy and JA are kicked out of the house for a few days (floors redone) we plan to do something with all of them.
Things like ice-skating and bowling wont work for the little guys... and the weather stinks so we cant think of much else..

All we could think of is a Childrens Museum.
Or maybe roaming around ToysRUS in TimesSquare and FAO
...or just a day at home...

Ideas? I hate winter!

What about making their own play-doh (you can find recipes online, I think) and making different things with them? Other crafty types of things? Baking? What about a place like Spaceplex or something more suited to smaller ones?

Isn't there an aquarium in Riverhead?

Jann, whats SpacePlex? I'll look it up, sounds like fun

Dani-we're trying/hoping to keep it somewhat local. Since we're in Queens right now, we're hoping no more than 30 minutes away, with this crappy weather. I LOVE the aquarium though!

Oh, didn't know you were in Queens-that would be quite a commute then to Riverhead Hmmm...no other ideas, not familiar with Queens...

The Children's Museum is a great idea, and good for the younger ones too. Not sure of the town, but it's near Nassau Coliseum.
