Ideas for a friends bach. party?

What are some things that you ladies have done this year? My friend does not want strippers or to go away b/c to many people would not be able to go. Please share your ideas. THanks.

Hmmm...how about a nice dinner at someone's house with a psychic party and lots of wine? Or maybe dinner out followed by a makeover party (like a Mary Kay party or something), followed by just hitting some local bars?

I am going to my friend's bachelorette this Saturday. We are doing a winery tour. We get the limo for 8 hours or 6 wineries. And when we are ready for lunch, the driver will go pick it up at one of the local restaurants that participate in the tour and it gets set up at whatever winery we are at.

my BP was this weekend and we went to a pole dancing class - it was soooo much fun and not too expesnive - you got a really good workout, had tons of fun and learned a thing or two

We did the Sex and the City tour in the city and then dinner--it was a great time and everyone had a ball.

How about comedy clubs, spa day, winery tour, dinner and bar crawl...

We did the cruise to nowhere. I'm not sure if you consider that going away. but we had a great time and it wasn't too expensive. I didn't want strippers or anything like that either. HTH

If you are low-key and you just want to have a real girls-only weekend, you may be interested in this. My friends and I rented a cottage out in East Hampton on the beach for this weekend. Since it's off-season, the rates are really low and it's super quiet out there so we pretty much have the run of the town. Lots of things are still open - restaurants and bars, but you can also party in the house with just your girls (gorgeous homes too!).
