Ideas for an E-party location?

Hi Ladies!
Well FH and I have been engaged since 1.1.07 but we haven't had an E-party yet. Just cuz we are spending the lil money we do have to pay for wedding stuff...since my parents r being difficult (long story).

So does anyone have any ideas of a place I can rent out (with reasonable pricing) in Queens? I live in Jamaica and FH lives in Ozone Park so any place around there or in the middle would be great. I just want a place to invite family and friends and where I can bring my own, food, drinks, cake, and music. I can get all those things cheaper.

i had the same problem i ended up using my brother back yard! but try calling the vfw or knight of columbus! good luck

def. try a local knights of Columbus or American legion hall. Some of them are really nice and the rental fee can be quite inexpensive!! Good luck

FH's firehouse rents out there room but its in LYnbrook. if you want info FM me.

I went to Rigatti Terrace for a Baby shower- they brought in all their own food, liquor, etc and it was nice.
