I'm in need of some awesome bachelorette party ideas. What great bachelorette parties have you attended? What is the average amount that you typically spend at bachelorette parties?
Thanks! :)

Ideas for Bachelorette Parties
I've done a day trip to the wineries which was really fun. It was around $150-$160, but that included all transportation, tastings, lunch and dinner. The bridesmaids bought all the food for lunch and snacks while at the wineries. Then, we ate at a restaurant for dinner. The bridesmaids had made a prix fix dinner, where they ordered a bunch of apps for the table, and then gave everyone a choice of an entree and then ordered dessert for the table. They knew how much it was going to cost in advance, so they were able to charge us for it and just pay out of the amount they collected. It was so organized, very well done. I loved that once we paid, we weren't constantly reaching in our pockets for more money-- and you know what it's like when it's more money than some people are willing to pay for dinner and they freak out!
I've been to one in AC also, and to one at a friend's parents beach house. Mine will be in Rehoboth Beach, DE. It's pretty far from the city (around 4-5 hours) but I'm from northern DE. There's a lot to do down there (it's on the way to Ocean City, MD) and it's a little more low key/classier than Ocean City. There are a lot of bars/restaurants/cute boutiques and even outlets to do tax free shopping in case the weather is bad. I'm not a big partier and most of my bridesmaids will be pregnant or have small kids, so we just want something more fun without a lot of alcohol. I think a typical bachelorette party is around $200. Obviously less if it's a one night thing, though in Manhattan it may still be that expensive if the food/drinks aren't cheap!

The winery trip and dinner sounds wonderful! The pre fixed dinner and organization sounds great and def something I'm looking for. Im in the middle of planning a bachelorette party and her first choice was a destination location that included airfare. I've only been to bachelorette parties out east and AC, so I didn't know what to expect activity wise, money wise...etc with a destination one, and if destination bachelorette parties were the new 'thing.' Thanks for the info!

Ideas for Bachelorette Parties
I know we are doing AC for mine. I have been to bachelorettes where It was expected we pay for everything for the bride. I dropped close to $500 for the weekends one was in AC the other in Newport. I am not expecting my friends to do that. Friends can pay for their own rooms. I will pay for myself. I am hoping to keep the weekend to under $300. If they want to gamble thats their choice.

Seacrets is my ALL TIME favorite 'girls weekend' getaway.. only a 4-5 hour ride from here and it is an absolute BLAST.. I cannot say enough how much I love it there- highly suggest Ocean City MD for a summer bachelorette party.. That would be my first choice if mine was going to be during the summer months!

ALSO- Did I mention the dance floor bounces and there is confetti and balloons? When we were younger my friends & I would go there for the weekend and pretend we were there for a bachelorette party so that randoms would buy us drinks.. we would take turns who would wear the fake engagement ring and bride sash so I can say from experience that you'll have a good time lol!
