Our RH has a fireplace in our room and I am looking for some idea's. My Florist is making an arrangement of ivy and hydrangea and draping it over the mantel. Similar to what is used for an Arch.
I wanted to use large pillar candles but I am having a day wedding. Not too sure how it would look.
I can't use family wedding photo's b/c my parents are divorced. Any suggestions?

What about pics of you and FH. Maybe a picture frame with a poem. I would definetly put candles along the mantel too.

we are putting baby pics in nice frames on the mantle in our RH. and probably baby pics of our brothers too.

we had candles with both of our parents wedding pic 8x10 and one of our engagement pics 8x10 in the middle of theirs

I would do pics of you, FH, and your families growing up.
Or do you have wedding pics of your grandparents??? My parents are divorced too, so I don't think we'll be using their wedding pics, but I might do our grandparents' weddings.

Did you see a few days ago someone posted they had these boards name with their married name and date, and I think had displayed by the cake? They were about $40. I think that would look great.

Pic's of us growing up is a good idea, maybe adding our engagement pic as well.

you could do a through the years. In the center pic of you and FH now(maybe engagement). On one side smaller pics of you through the years and on the other side of your fh. Basically on both ends it would be baby pics and as you get towards the center the pics are of you guys getting older until the one in the center is the engagement. Ideally the middle one would be the biggest and they would get smaller as your reach the ends.
