hey guys, my FH and I will have almost no money left after we're done paying for the wedding so we never considered going on a HM. but people that i've told this to are like 'no, you have to go somewhere, even if it's only for a weekend.' plus, i'm also in grad school right now so even finding time is becoming a problem. the one good thing is that i'm getting married the weekend before thanksgiving so i'll be off from school.
soooo.... my question is, can anyone recommend places for maybe like a 3-4 day honeymoon and then hopefully we'll get to go a great vacation after we're more settled?

maybe a cruise, you can find a 3-4 day cruise on carnival, & they are definitely affordable.

If you really are looking to save money why not go to Atlantic City or somewhere else local for a few days then go on a bigger trip for your first anniversary.

thanks for the suggestions! i'll start looking for cheap things. my FH will not be able to travel out of the states (cuz he's here on a business visa and not because he's a felon) so it has to be within the states. i was thinking about hawaii but didn't realize how expensive everything was

You could do
Niagara Falls VT the Catskills the Adirondacks
this site has lots of cmps/cabins/houses for rent in the mountains -it would be beautiful and very romantic!

you can get an affordable package to Vegas too!! there are soooo many hotels that range in prices and airfare always has deals!

Sandals is having a sale right now! u can get all inclusive for 4 days! so u know when u'r there u wont have to spend anymore money!! Good Luck!

How about Puerto Rico? We had to go the 'mini-moon' route too and that's where we went.
