how about applebees in the queens center mall on queens blvd? eat and shop (well, window shop!) there's also a lounge a few blocks away called PLAY that may be a nice option...
and then there's also a shopping/eating area on 71st and continental by queens blvd in Kew Gardens/ Rego Park.
i live in queens but i'm drawing blanks in my mind

ok... 71st is fine..if u have patience for parking..but my honest opinion..i wouldnt go anywhere near queens blvd..worrying bout the meters... queens center is OK cuz theres a parking lot.... but EHH..
ive been to play....nothing cool about it except for the funky bathroom sink.
let me know what you girls want to do...lunch or dinner....any activities? martinis at night?

Oh yeah 71st near Austin is a beyotch to get parking!!! Queens center also has red lobster and outback as well, but I will warn you guys on a Saturday that place is CRAZY!!! FH used to live 4 blocks from there

How about Astoria? Its close to the trains and theres sooo many outdoor cafes that you can sit at for hours and not be bothered
