Ideas of gifts for Godmother & Godfather

I'd like to give Luke's Godmother & Godfather a gift at his Christening. Does anyone have any ideas? I want to spend about $50 each (FYI, They're not a couple-so a joint gift is not an option)

I was trying to find out where my SIL (godmother) gets her hair done to get a GC, but she ended up telling me how she doesn't really like the place she's been going to...my idea for my brother was the Godfather DVD set but of course I found out he has it!! So my initial ideas have gone kaput!!

I appreciate any ideas...

My sister got me a beautiful gold locket and chain w/ pics of both of my nephews as well as a silverplated frame w/ a pic of my nephew/Godson. She engraved the back of the locket for me, too.

Does your SIL wear jewelry? What about a silver locket or a gold charm - those are in the $50 range. I'm a sentamentalist and always go for something 'keepsake-y'... As for the Godfather, I'm thinking watch or money clip??

Even though he had it already I love the Godfather DVD set idea

I got my cousin, who is Paul's godmother, a 18k gold heart shaped locket. Using photoshop, Jeff put little tiny pictures in it before we wrapped it.

For my brother, Paul's godfather, I got a sterling silver ID bracelet.

Both gifts were big hits...but, I chose both based on their tastes, not my own. Just try to make it personal for them, and your thoughtfulness will show through!
