Ok so My Fiance is from England. I am from New York. And we met in New Zealand.
so new zealand is obviously a very special place to us both and i really really really want to somehow incorporate it into our wedding .. whether on our invitations or table numbers or maybe like a poem but i am not creative at all so if anyone has any ideas.. they would be greatly appreciated! THANK YOU

i dont know much about new zealand..but maybe name the tables after popular places,and u can maybe use the colors of the flag in diffrent areas,like place cards,invitaions..

sorry just though of something else..maybe use the national anthem somewhere?like cake cutting or something? idk if thats too far fetched just a thought...also look int o any famouse poets ir writers from new zealand then maybe read something he/she wrote

My DH is born/raised in Ireland so we had the table numbers be different counties in Ireland along with a fun fact about each county. You could do something like that for your table numbers.
We also had our favors be keychains with four leaf clovers inside. You could have tea favors since tea is very British.
Since you're having the wedding in a vineyard setting, maybe name the tables after vineyards in NZ. The only one I can think of off-hand is Marlborough (sp?), but I know there are others.

this is what i mean by i am not creative i have a maori symbol tattooed on my neck and i never even thought to use one in my wedding!

My friend has a similar situtation, only with london. They lived in london for 6months and that is where they got engaged.
They did a save the date that was the london skyline meeting NYC skyline that was really nice and they also used the subway stops w/logo as their table numbers. She also had little 'scrolls' they made at each place setting that was done like the london newspaper when you opened it and it had lots of misc facts about london and incorporated events/pictures of their stay there as well. It was cute and even had a crossword puzzle.
