My story- FH and I have been talking about marriage since about 6 months into our relationship. On day In July he just came out with I think its time to start looking for a ring. We went together, picked 1 out and said I wouldnt get it till my birthday (November). On Aug 15 we had reservations for a dinner cruise around lower Manhattan. Right after dinner he pulled out the ring asked me to marry him and then he dropped the ring. We had everyone at the next tables on the floor looking for it. I dont know if I was crying because of the proposal or because we couldnt find the ring. lol lol. We finally found it in the folds of the table cloth (which were real long). All I kept thinking was thank goodness he didnt decide to do it outside on deck.
