If guaranteed 250 to the hall...

How many should we invite?? Our list is up to about 360, and I have been freaking out, but everyone keeps telling me to hit the 250, we should invite this much?

I say at least 300. I guaranteed 200 and have 270 on my list.

That numbers not to far off.. the AVERAGE is 20% don't come which would put you at 288, from your guest list number of 360... it seems though that more people are declining due to the economy so I would say thats a good number to stick with.

Go through your list and ESTIMATE who you think will come/won't.

It might be slightly off, but it may give you at least an idea.

I think what you have invited is plenty, unless you think alot of them can't make it...

i think u'll definitly hit 250 people with 360 on ur list. but maybe go thru the list and count the people that u know will be definite yes's and take it from there.

Oh yea! You got plenty their. Unless the bulk of your invites our out of towners or from other countries, I wouldn't worry about meeting your minimum.

It's always best to go with the lower number. Otherwise you may get stuck with guaranteeing a large number then you want. Our list has grown to 280 but we only guaranteed 160, and at the time we where only thinking of inviting 200. Normally you go with the 20% rule of people who won’t show.
