FH's mom is no longer with us and he has absolutely NO relationship with his father, so that's actually kind of how I feel. It's sad tho.

I haven't seen them since Sunday night truthfully, but I get to see them tonight and every night until they leave Saturday.

Then I get to do the take them to the airport dance

Thats your problem! you see my inlaws live like thirdy miles away. They never come over. We visit once in a while, but we never stay late. Heck they don't even know where we live. When they live far away they need a place to stay and guess where they wanna go, to their dear old boy that they rarely see.

You know what, I don't know why your FH has those feelings but I find often there is a good reason behind it and you know what most of thoses reason could have fix in the 18 yrs when some is still a kid. I don't know anything about your FH but in many cases those strained relationships are justfied.
