If I had a million dollars....

The song came on the radio and i was just thinking... what would you do with it.

1.Your wedding is already paid for
2. You live in your dream house
3. You have no debt.

What would you do with it?

i would definitely donate some, and put the rest in the bank, cds, money market and just live my life comfortably....

Also i would go on amazing vacations....

1) buy a house
2) set up bank accounts for kids' tuitions
3) establish a scholarship at my undergrad university
4) send my parents on a much needed all-expense paid vacation

You girls are better then me, id go shopping.

I would invest most of it.. (buy real estate, put some in CD account, buy bonds.. etc)
give some to charity
give to family
go on vacation with the rest~

Isn't it crazy to think that a million dollars is a ton of money but at the same time it really isn't....

1. Pay off all debt
2. take both of our families on a nice vacation
3. House
4. Definately do some shopping with it. There a few new bags out there calling my name!!!!!!!

since we live in NY, I don't think a million dollars would take me very far.

But i guess I'd buy a nice house with it.

2. buy a house
3. Make monetary donations to the parents
4. Start college fund for kids.

If I already had the wedding paid for, the house of my dreams and all my debt gone i'd def...

1) Buy my parents a house and give them a nice chunk so they can finally live comfortably
2) Buy myself and FH new cars
3) Travel and/or invest in some Real estate

1-would NOT tell anyone
2-Set up trust funds for my kids/ nephews and neicees., and not tell anyone about it..
3-Buy my sister a house..

everyone else has a house.and is happy with it...

4-buy FH a Yellow Ferrari he always wanted
5-Invest it
6-Travel the world

Is that a million dollars before or after taxes lol

I'd buy a house
Pay off my student loans
Give my mom some $$
Go on Vacation
And invest if theres left lol

if i had all of those things already...

1. i'd send my mom on her dream trip to europe (i'd go with her).
2. i'd send my brother & his wife on my bro's dream trip to europe (totally different from what my mom wants).
3. i would send my dad to all 3 races in the Triple Crown & buy him a race horse.
4. Dave & I would do our dream trip - all baseball, football & basketball stadiums.

5. after that - with anything left over - i'd probably pay off some debts for my close friends...

I would take it in one lum sum even though cut it in 1/2 after you get taxes taken out of it haha and then put it into stocks (which would help me pay back my school loans) and bank accounts to help my children with tuition and also put a very nice down payment on a house

unfortunately with the amount of ppl in my family my dad could hvae NEVER lived comfortably off a million $ or even lived off of jsut that. when you think about it a million is not alot of money anymore. especially after taxes and with whta things costs today!

but yeah it is still a nice amount that i wouldnt mind getting to help me pay my school loans back and my wedding off

$1 million really doesn't get far these days, especially pre-tax! But since we're day dreaming I'm going to say it's already taxed and this is what I'd do:
1. Pay off all my debt
2. Pay for my wedding
3. Buy a house for me & FH
4. Quit my job so I can go to school fulltime and start teaching sooner
5. Give money to my parents

yeah when i was in the 9th grade so about 9 years ago. he won the money from this website called iwon.com my mom did alot of christmas shopping on it cause she had a broken leg that xmas and the website you get points. the more points you get the better of a chance you have to win money. every month was 1 million and every week was 10, 000$ adn my dads name was registered on the website and he won the month of dec million $ we even were on tv in cali haha cause in april they gave away 10 million to someone and the guy was 24 yrs old how damn lucky was he haha so they asked my family to be on it and we won some more stuff- like a vaca to disney and some other little lthings
