' If its all white its alright!' : Another Report for the Tan Challenged

Hi Ladies - I went last night for the airbrush tan... Not to be confused with the Mystic.

Turns out it is WAY more precise. Eileen was quite right. I was happy with the mystic - but I was getting poor reviews from my Mom, and it seems that I went once and it wasn't calibrated right, so it wasn't even.

Yesterday I went to the San Tropez spa in Pt Jeff station for $40 (Mystic in Smithtown is $25) - and as long as you have no shame it works. You strip down into ONLY a paper thong. The coverage and the color is better with the airbrush. The technitian sprays you with the color, and mimes the way she wants you to move (the machiene is too loud for her to speak and she didn't want to disturb the people getting massages.)

I would completely recommend the mystic first, so you get an idea of the color, and the smell, and how it wears. I'm definatly doing the airbrush 1 or 2 days before the wedding. I came into work and people thought I went away for the weekend. It looks as natural as a red head can look with a sun kissed tan.

OMG!!! You're the BEST!!! This is what I need! Now...anyone know of one closer to western Nassau or should I just take a trip out to Port Jeff?

I got the same thing done at Paul LeBrecque Salon/Spa in NYC last week. I thought it came out great!

Lori - there is a place called Le Donne Bronze in Uniondale that is supposed to be really good airbrush tan. They are a vendor on here. Do a search a few girls have used them and are in the review. I am thinking about trying it out.

I am torn between white or tan???

hey Kim - when I got mine done, last week - I didnt look super tan which is what I wanted. I looked like I had a very slight tan - a healthy glow. I am debating if I want to do it for the wedding.

I'm chosing tan because I have this funky tan line that I cannot seem to get rid of! Plus, since we're not going anywhere tropical, but will still be in suits I'd hate to scare everyone including FH with my farmers tan arms & legs!

ugh...can you imagine! Dancing, sweating....this brown stain on our gowns...

Eileen - eogara did this and said it came off on the inside - no one will see the inside. Ohhh but what about your arms getting on the side of the dress?

White hands!!!!!! that's my big issue.... looking like Mickry Mouse with tanned arms and white hands.....

With the airbush- does the tech do the tops of your hands?

Yes - they do the tops of your hands - it looks fine.
