If money was no object.....

What would your fantasy wedding be? or where? etc..

I'm bored...waiting for FH to get home from work so we can go to Micheal's to pick up some more of the votives on sale...lol

As for my fantasy wedding... if money were no object, I would love to take all of us (my family and his) to my grandma's hometown, Gurabo, Puerto Rico and get married in this old little white church, she was baptised in.

And have our reception at El Conquiestador Hotel.. Any old time general hospital fans, will remember they filmed there on location about 5 or 6 years ago, when Ricky Martin was on the show...

The Hotel is built on the side of a cliff, and you have to take a cable car to get to the beach is one of the most beautiful places on earth...

ah, yes, reeky mahtin and lileeee and then he flips his hair!
my dream wedding...hmmm...well, it would start off with a big time dinner the night before at some really nice restaurant or private house. the day of, i would get a massage and then we would have a bridal breakfast. the wedding would be in nantucket, maybe, some old hotel with the beach near by. we'd go all out...endless food all night, awesome music all night...just a lot of fun. the next day, we would have another breakfast before all our guests went home. it would just be a huge fun no stress wedding. as for our honeymoon, we would go to paris...then to bermuda or the caribbean. i can envision it, but i could go on forever. did i mention martha stewart would be the wedding planner???

Some castle in England. Then I'd hire the top wedding planner in the world and take a year long vacation, to come back to my perfectly organized and orchestrated wedding.

I would have a lavish wedding in the Garden City Hotel. Pay for everyone’s rooms, hair, make-up, massages etc. I would have the club rented out for after hours also with a jazz band playing until 4 AM!
And my favors would be like what they give at the Emmys.

OR

I would rent out the Planting Fields in Oyster Bay and have a big tent wedding on the lawn.

It would be deffinitely in a castle.

We would arrive in a white hellicopter.

I would have my gown made with Harry Winston diamonds.

Deffinitely have Sting perform at my wedding, then teach us Tantra. (just kidding about the tantra )

Then a whole year of sailing on our own private yacht, hopping from island to island.

hmmm, daydreaming is fun

I'd get married in fornt of the castle at tne Magic Kingdom, and have the reception there and rent out the whole place for my guests to ride all the rides (yes, you can do this, but it's $82,000 just for the site fee..) anyway, that's my dream

My whole theme would change!
I'd have a traditional Mexican wedding ceremony outside with mariachis and color gowns!

My reception would still be asian but leaning heavily towards dragons (my fav) and I'd get a chance to change gowns.

Where: Atlantis. Fly everyone out there.

Re: If money was no object.....

Good question!

I never had such a thing as a 'fantasy' or 'dream' wedding, per se ... I never thought I'd get married, to be perfect honest!! LOL

But if money were no object, I would just have someone ELSE do all the annoying wedding tasks I hate (going to appointments, etc.) and just come and consult me for my opinions, etc.

I'd have my gown made by Vera Wang.

For FH, I'd have Metallica come play at the recept and let him buy any car he desired (he's a car nut!!)

And since FH is Greek and I LOVE Greece, I think we'd fly everyone to Santorini and get married right when the sun is setting

I would have the wedding at Oheka Castle with everything that goes along with it. Including a horse drawn carriage. But, I definately would have hired someone to do all the arrangements.
