DH & I would like to open our own restaurant.

he also wants to build a custom hot rod & a custom chopper shop.

OMG, DH & I always say this exact thing! LOL!

get out! Dh HATES all these new shows b/c he has always wanted to do it, but now it has become so 'mainstream'

I told him once I grauate we will open up a shop.

DH gets annoyed too. He says, 'If this guy can do this show, I could too!' I know nothing about cars though. It would be 'his' thing. His dream was to find someone like you ... into that stuff like he is.

LMAO i actually got Dh into mechanics. when we were in HS, I used to have this group of friends who would buy cheap old cars & turn them into street rods. We made a ton of cash & I picked up a few things...nothing big, but I got interested. Well DH was interested in me, & I was interested in cars, so he started to hang around us. Well, he turned out to be really good at it & has been a mechanic ever since. He even dropped out of business school b/c he just wanted to build cars.
