Can I get away w/ a lace trimmed one? Or a satin trimmed one?

My dress was all satin and I got the cotton rolled bottom (I think thats what its called, it wasn't satin)
Would you get just the trim lace? I think that would look romantic

My dress was all satin, and I didn't get either mine was a 3 tier elbow length that I put in the back of my head so it fell fingertip. I looked beautiful. Personally, I don't care for the lace trimmed veils, they look like old-Italy grandma wearing a head wrap to Church on SUnday.
