Love the pic! Im sorry you are going through this. Thi is what happened with FMIL. If you dont think you can afford it dont invite her. I know its easier said then done.

Its hard. I find I am inviting about 20 guests now who will definitely not be giving a gift. And at 150 a head thats quite alot of people....that i iddnt plan on inviting...

I am so sorry you have to deal with that.. I got a lot of that myself! My list is up to 250 now and I only wanted 175 tops!!!

and this one cant come so invite her daugher because shes lonesome but youll have to invite her unemployed boyfriend that you dont know as well....

OMG I am going to be that girl in the pic with my future in laws as well!
I feel your pain and worse because its my in laws so I still have to try to be nice to them. If it was my mother boy I could be like no way mom! but my in laws seem to have NO RESPECT for me when I speak or ANYONE speaks for that matter and tells them what they dont want to hear.
Its soo hard and such an uncomfortable situation to be put into! I hate it! Weddings truly bring out an ugly side of people... =/ They also bring out the good but when the ugly rears his head out O BOY IS IT UGLY! lol

I totally feel your pain!! We are in the same boat. What started out as, we couldn't have more than 130 guests attending, which means inviting NO MORE than 150 people....Our list, due to my parents, is now at a whopping 217 people!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT??!!!!

The best is, we originally lied about only being able to hold 90 to HIS parents because he has a huge familyl...
Okay, I am just going to put my foot down. No firends children with their boyfriends of the month, no landlords that we will have to get to and from the wedding and ceremony, and no friends of dads who will become drunk irish men....

that happened with FIL's and it caused a HUGE problem finally i just said fine but you have to pay for it and they are!
