because they didn't like you...would you go to theirs?

If someone was invited to my shower, and didn't come and I later found out that it's cause they didn't like me then I wouldn't further invite them to my wedding, I'm sure I could find another person who does like and would be over joyed to spend the day with me.

If I was then invited to their shower, I would graciously decline the shower and wedding. Unless it was family or something where I couldn't get out of it. Then I'd put on a good face and grin and bear it.

It's a tough call, 'friends' it's easier to get away with not inviting to yours or not going to theirs. But with family sometimes you have to keep the peace, even when it's hard. I guess I would have to. Bummer lol!!! But I'd be unhappy about the thing, knowing how they feel about me.....and how I would probaly no doubt feel about them after hearing all that.

Unless it's a girlfriend of a family member. . .Then maybe you could get away with not doing it. If you invite only family and your close friends, but not other girlfriends of family members. If she's finace of family, I think your out of luck, cause then she's kind of family already. But unfortunately usually all the females invited to the wedding are invited to the shower.
