Is there a way to use embossing powder on the ink as soon as it comes out of the printer so you can have the raised look of the printed invites?? I thought of it in the store today and figured id ask you girls! thanks

Raised - thermography is really done by a heat/sand/spray process so no in theory you couldn't do it on your own. SOWY

I thought of that but I doubt it. I think a thermography printer does it in the printer. I so wanted thermography but would rather spend money in other places. GL

I actually have heard of ladies DIY'ing their invites and using embossing powder to get the look of thermography.
Unfortunately I'm not sure if it's just called 'embossing powder' or something else, and it ONLY works if you use an inkjet printer that doesn't dry right away. Also, apparently it takes quite a while to dry, but supposedly the end result is just like thermography.

Oh wow this is something new that I haven't heard of. I should tell my pressman at work that he might be out of a job IoI ... That is really cool if i find out about it I will deff. tell you where i found it.
Printing is my life so its really interesting when new products come out that is used for low qty's since the main business we have here at the print shop is under 5k runs.
