Don't get me wrong I absolutely loveee going to weddings but seriously the past couple of years we have gone to soooo many of them, some of our friends even laugh at us because everytime we turn around we are 'going to another wedding'. My closet seriously looks like a dress shop, lol. But now it's really starting to get me, we were just at a wedding in august, then in october and now we have a another one this saturday it's just such bad timing for all these back to back weddings because obviously we are trying to keep money tight to save for our own wedding but it's so hard.....peopleeee need to wait until after we are married now lol.

I hear you - I had 2 this past month, have 6 next year and 2 already in 2011! Everyone around me is getting engaged.

yeah we had so many weddings this year...next year we have a few and already have one in 2011 but more friends are on the verge of getting engaged.

A few years ago everyone in FHs fam got married. every 6 months we had another wedding to go to. Current we only have 1 wedding on the horizon and i know that will change once my friends start getting engaged.

just wait till they have kids. then its showers, christenings, 1st birthdays and communions. We're basically he last ones for a while of our friends and families to get married, so now we have all those parties to deal with. It never ends!!!!

I am in one wedding next year plus going to 4, plus the showers and people having babies and now its christenings but hey I love it because everyone is special.

I feel the same lol.... this year me and fh have been to about 11 weddings to farrrrr last year was 15!!!!

i went to one this year, but it was only my 3rd in my life lol

and i know that i have 1, possibly 2 in 2011

but i cant see any of mine of fhs friends even getting engaged anytime soon

The last wedding I went to was April 2006 and it was my law school classmate's wedding. All my female friends are marriedeith kids and the ones who aren't, are living a Sex & the City lifestyle...

I went to 3 in one week!!! It was so brutal. Two of them were in Buffalo, one was in Central New Jersey. On the upside, the next wedding I'm going to is my own!

I am in three this year!!

Luckily next year, I am just attending two other ones as guests, and then have my own, although the past 2 years I've had people get engaged in Jan and married in Nov so who knows??

I hear ya...we keep saying the same thing. we had 3 wedding within 5 week in sept/oct this year. and TWO of them we had to travel for, one we had to fly. it killed us financially!

I know... everyone and their mother is getting married next year... we have SIX including our own!!!!!
