If we live in Suffolk county...

we can still apply for a marriage license ANYWHERE in NY right?

Like if we were in the city - we could apply there?

Because we don't even live in the same county now and probably won't when we are ready to apply for the license.

I don't think that matters because it goes by the state and not the county.

yes you can get your license upstate, city, anywhere on the island... ANYWHERE in NY!

added: But... if you ever lose your license and need to get re-issued a new one or need an extra for something, you need to go through the original office you applied at.
