I am doing this, not from a hotel, from my parents home...only for certain guests I did not include in invite. I am going to let them know by word of mouth.
Who are you using for the shuttle bus?

I'm using Royalty....for both the shuttle and my limos.
Maybe word of mouth is better? Or a message at the desk of the hotel?

putting it in the itenerary of their guest basket that they will get at check in. Also, for those I know who might rent a car, I am letting them know by personally calling them and telling them.

That's a really good idea Debbie! I won't bother cluttering the invite!
Here's another question...what do you do if the postcards for the hotel into is kinda tacky? I mean, it's white, but just blech...it's a cheap post card.

I will provide all the detailed info w/ welcome basket. But with the invite I will provide an insert letting guests know that car service will be provided to & from hotel to any guest who wishes to stay there.

I just read you last post on this thread & I didn't like the hotel cards either, so I am making my own on the computer on card stock that includes all relevant info.

I made my own hotel cards and wrote a simple statement on that. I just wanted the guests to know if they stayed in the hotel they would have transportation.
I also had a welcome note from the bride and groom in the hotels bags that had the more specific times and itinerary.
I used Coach buses and had a terrible experience with them. They did not show up on time (among other issues) and basically made my itinerary useless.
