if you are getting married at your venue..

how far before are you arriving? and FH?

ETA: my ceremony is at 6 about a half hour from the venue on a good day. but it's friday of memorial weekend. help!!

AND: we are not seeing each other. no pictures before

My venue said I can arrive as early as I want. I guess it's going to depend mostly on the time for hair and makeup because I plan on getting it done there. I'm figuring we will start pictures roughly 2-2.5 hours prior to the ceremony.

I think we are planning to be there about 2 hours before the ceremony. The groom and his family and bp will probably be there 2.5 hours before.

I'm arriving at my Venue at 12, for a 6 pm ceremony on site, but that's because we're also doing a reveal there at 4.

I'm getting to my venue at 4pm for a 7pm ceremony. No reveal before, I just want to relax and have time to take everything in!

I think it depends on the venue, I worked it out with mine where I can go there at any time I want that day.

some venues are more restrictive so check to see the earliest they allow so you know what you are working with

Our venue had a daytime event happening so we can't get in there til after. Round 5:15 and we have a 7pm ceremony

I think our contract says we can arrive 3 hours prior, and we will probably do that since we will do a reveal and most of our photos before the ceremony.

I can only get there 2 hours before hand- so we will be getting ready and doing the reveal all before that, then two hours before when we get there, taking some pictures & hopefully getting some time to relax before our ceremony

I can only get to my venue an hour before my start time (arriving at 5 for a 6pm ceremony). I'm not thrilled, but they have a morning event so what can you do. This is pretty much the reason why we booked another place to do reveal pics.

This is a really good question my venue stated since they do one event at a time and specifically since I chose a Sunday wedding that I could come whatever time I wanted and even get ready there if I wanted. I figured I would get there much earlier to get pics out of the way

I'm pretty sure we can get there 2 hours before the ceremony so that's my plan. We have a 730 ceremony, so hope to get there at 530.

We're getting married in Sept on a Friday, also not seeing each other prior. We plan on FH and they guys arriving at 5:30-5:45 with me and the girls arriving at 6 with a 6:30 ceremony. I'm a little nervous about traffic being my date is at the prime of back to school and I'll be heading east WITH the traffic. So, I've already spoken to the photog and they're arriving at my moms at 4:30 and have to speak to the limo company to arrive at 4:15 to leave my moms at 5. My RH has been great so far and has offered us completely get ready there and they'll serve us lunch, but I really want to be at my moms.

This plan works out better for us anyway, as our BP is all immediate family and all will be in our limos. None of us will have to worry about picking up our cars at another place or anything.

Our ceremony is at 7:30 and we are doing all of our pictures before so... I think we are starting pictures around 4 (getting ready in the hotel before hand and then move over around 5ish)
