Are you having any kids at your reception? I am having 5 and feel like that is a lot.

Re: If you are having an evening wedding...
Nope. The youngest person will be my 13 year old cousin and she'll only be there because she's a jr. bridesmaid.

We're not having any, even if it was a day wedding :)

No kids under 12. We feel at that age they can enjoy the food and won't need to be supervised as much as toddlers or younger kids.

Re: If you are having an evening wedding...
The only kid that we know of is FH nephew who is 8 and is a groomsman. We are letting people bring kids if we want, but so far every couple with kids said they want to leave them home so they can drink and relax at our wedding.

I'm having kids, I mean babies! Not particularly my idea, but FH's sis has 2 and one on the way. I'll have a 3 month old there.

We will also allow kids I have a bunch of nieces & nephews that I really want there...This will be the first big even for most of them so they'll love it! And they will look sooo cute! :) Also I don't want to make our out of town guests leave thier kids at home!

Re: If you are having an evening wedding...
we're having...
2 babies (newborns actually, 1 of them being my new niece or nephew because i know my brother & SIL won't want to leave the baby with someone else),
& my 2 nieces who are the FG's (but they're bedtime is at 7pm so i'm sure my sister will have them sent home-she's a stickler for bedtimes)
But other than my immediate nieces or nephews... no other children are allowed.

I invited all the kids, it's up to the parents if they want to bring them.

No kids at my reception. I want the parents to be able to enjoy themselves and not have to worry about their kids.

Re: If you are having an evening wedding...
We are inviting about 20 kids--from infants to 13 years of age. I love the spontaneity that they bring to almost any event. I too couldn't imagine not having my cousins and children of my close friends there.
