If you are having children at your wedding

If you are having children at your wedding

are you making them little bags with things to keep them occupied? If so where are you getting everything from and what how are you varying them to make them age appropriate? We have kids ranging from a year to 12 years old.

Should we make something for the 12 year old? We have a 14 year old I think she would think it's babiesh if we gave something to her.

I'd love to hear what you all are doing so that I can get some suggestions.

I'm having children mostly 10 yrs old and older who play video games so they will be bringing their nintendo ds's. For my flowergirl who is the youngest child there i will probably get her a princess themed coloringbook(she loves the Disney princesses) and possibly something else don't know yet. I wouldn't get anything for the 12 and 14 yr old they may be too involved with dancing or talking to each other.

That's true maybe we will just get coloring books. They have coloring books and crayons at the dollar store so that could work. I don't want to go too crazy. Maybe I can get the older kids like 8 years old puzzle books or something.

Don't go crazy you'll be surprised on how many children like to get down on the dance floor and may forget about the coloring books lol.If they are 8 yrs old who don't play video games then definitely get them puzzles.

They play video games. Yesterday we were at a party and they had their DS's. So maybe just for the younger kids then.

im printing personalized wedding coloring books from DIYbride.com and putting it together with ribbon. I bought boxes of crayons at dollar store and will put 5 per book. I was thinking of doing photo scavenger hunt for the older kids, not sure yet

I am having like 4 little kids. From ages 4 to 8. I will make them a little basket or bag each. I'm just going to get coloring books and crayons etc. Just random kids stuff to put in the bags. You can buy prepackaged ones... but honestly I've seen them charging $40 for just ONE set! I'm not going that insane.
Try 99 cent stores and family dollar. Any book store. Super markets usually have cute coloring books.
I also got a playschool set for each of the 3 younger kids... it's a wedding set. So cute.

We had a bunch of little ones at our wedding and we did not keep them occupied with anything. They loved dancing and moving around. A lot of them actually fell asleep during the reception despite the loud dj.

haha I was just thinking the same thing! We'll have our RB & FG who are 4 & 8 and two infants. I'm leaving it up to their parents to keep them occupied.
