Do you tip them in addition to the price you pay them? Maybe this is a dumb question but I really have no idea!

nope....i wouldn't tip them...they are coming to you and the price is usually much higher than if you got it done somewhere else.
so if you go to a salon..you would tip then..but if they come to you..like i said..the prices should be much higher therefore taking care of the cost of them coming to you...

I agree. Especially if whoever is doing your hair works for themselves (as in, they get 100% of the profit).

i'm having hair/MU ppl come to me at 6 a.m. to do myself and 5 other ppl...and even though it is a little more expensive for them to come to me....i feel bad not tipping. so i'll tip a little to show my appreciation. but i'm just a tipper...can't help it!

I remember reading somewhere that if they come to your house then you are under no obligation to tip them... if you are especially happy with their service than you can obviously.... im trying to remember where i read this....

I used Denise from Angel Eyes. She did not charge more to come to my house and I did tip her.

i went and had my hair done so i tipped... the girl who did my makeup did it herself ( own business) so i did not :)
