Well, we have been living together for years already so something tells me we won't be getting down and durrty with garters right after the wedding. We'll prob be sleeping or relazing on the beach, but u never know!

I didn't go the garter toss, but still wore one as a nice tradition and it was one of my 'something blue', it's a keepsake/ I should have put it in the shadow/ perserved memory box with my b-qt but I forgot about it.

My mother bought me a beautiful one and sewed my baby bracelet onto it! Definitely will be a treasured keepsake to hopefully pass on to my daughter one day!

There is no rule that says you HAVE to wear a garter. Alot of people do it to have their something blue.. I got a Mets garter to surprise FH... we aren't doing the garter toss...I'll probably just stick it in a box after the wedding and forget about it..but it wasn't expensive..you can find very inexpensive garters if you really want to get one.
