What are you doing about wine glasses? Are you asking for any or are you going to wait till you have china?

They're 'kinda' formal but fun at the same time.

Mikasa 'Cheers' Collection - we already have the martini glasses...so we figured to register for the matching wine glasses as well:

Christine, I love the Cheers glasses. I really wanted to register for them but FH has a tendency of breaking glasses and those edges are really fine. So I went with something thicker.

We got glasses, but nothing formal. All our glasses came from either Bed, Bath & Beyond or Linens and Things. I'm just not into formal stuff, nor is my FH. He's into cooking, so we went with good pots, pans and cookware.

If you are getting glasses and no china, how many glasses are you asking for?

I really like those Mikasa glasses!

I put down 4. We rarely entertain in all honesty so I didn't need more. But put down as many as you want.

8 - we live in NYC, we're not the vanderbuilts...don't think we'd ever entertain more than that!

You know that if they break, and you keep the box, that you can go to Macy's and exchange them????

I already got a nice box of 6 for and engagment gift. ALso I got toasting flutes from FH. I wanted to add to my six, but his aunt got it at some special store, and she hasn't seen them.
I was just going to match my toasting flutes to a set. They are Vera Wang Duchesse.

I registered for crystal wine glasses by Lenox called 'Tuscany'. They look like plain wine and champagne glasses but have a more sleek look to it and are crystal. They complement my everyday dinnerware and will complement my china in the future.
