If you are paying for your own wedding...

How should your invitation be worded?

mine will be

Lori and Michael request the honour of your presence...

or you can word it for example

Bride...daughter of'....'
Groom...son of...'
request the honour of your presence...

this names parents but doesn't imply they are paying.

We are probably going to say something like, 'Hollie and John request the honor of your presence at their marriage...'

I know that there is a large wording selection in the Invitations by Dawn Catalogue.

You can always word it anyway you want no matter who is paying! Even though we're footing the bill we want to make it traditional so both sets of parents will be on the invite. I was thinking something like :
Proud Parents or Both Families
Mr. & Mrs
Mr. & Mrs.
request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their children
