If you are taking pictures before the ceremony, how are you going to keep your dress clean?

I'm afraid my hem will be filthy by the time I get to the ceremony.
Should I bustle my dress for teh pictures & take it down for teh ceremony? I was also thinking of wearing a higher heel during the pictures...will that look funny?

I thought of this too! I've seen so many beautiful pics in gardens, for example, so how do you avoid it? Does the photographer have any tricks up his sleeve?

Oh, great! Another thing to worry about!

I really don't care if my dress gets a little dirty before the ceremony. I just don't want a coffee stain on the front of it.

I was wondering the same thing. How do I avoid getting grass stains on the bottom of my dress if the grass is just a little wet or if it rains the night before. I don't think i like this.

i have the same fear. i guess we should bring some shout wipes, some baby powder and other stain removers. dont drink coffee, red wine or anything else that can stain! and if the grass is wet, hike up the skirt!

I think if you are are just careful holding the dress up while you walk.

Also, if you choose to sit on the ground. It on a bag.

We had our pictures taken before the ceremony and it rained the night before so the grass was wet. The bottom of the trane got a little wet, but no stains. Some spots of water on the dress, but dried within 5 min. my dress was organza though, so for satin dresses I don't know if it would be the same, satin is heavier.
