why? What was the benefit?

don't want to put all of my eggs in one basket. And, they do have a good working relationship with each other which is a big plus!

I was originaly going to go with one for both, but then I found a great videographer for less $$$$ so I went with them..

Thanks ladies.
I originally thought that we'd save $$$ by using one company for both, but I'm starting to think that the opposite may be true. However, I want both the photographer and videographer to have a good relationship with the hall and more importantly with each other.
It's so difficult to choose!

I didnt want my photographer doing my video i wanted a very professional videographer that can give me what i want. Its also nice to know that that is their one specialty.

We chose not too book videographer through the photography studio. I priced it, and they charged at least a few hundred more than an outside videography place. AND most photography studios don't have an on-staff videographer anyway, but hire a freelancers or outside contractors.
