IF you bought two dresses were you able to sell one?
I posted last week about my dress dilemna. I bought a dress and just don't like the way it looks. It is a beautiful gown (I have not even picked it up yet, although I went to try it on last week) and now need to sell it. Someone suggested ebay, which I have never used but am wondering if people really buy dresses off of there and if it is likely I would be able to sell it there? Any suggestions on where or how I could go about selling it? I know I won't get back what I paid and I'm willing to take a loss, but want to get back a large percentage. What have others done and has it worked, I don't want to have a dress I'm going to do nothing with....

I have bought a few special occasion dresses from ebay. Brand new with tags. They have been great.
Just list the specifics. Good Luck!

To be honest I am in the smae boat as you...I bought a dress and when it came in I hated it...it was too heavy and uncomfortable for me to be happy wearing it...so I have been trying to sell it for months. It has been harder than I thought..I used ebay and although I got bids...the highest was about $300...a huge huge loss. I am still waiting to put it up again...I would love to get about 45% of the cost back. Good luck!

I'll post on ebay, the knot boards and here as well. You never know where you might find a vendor. Good Luck !!!

I'm not sure if i would buy a dress off ebay, or anything like that but some people might. Good luck. I think you can also post a free add on craigslist.com or some place like that.
