If you could change one thing about FH what would it be?

if you asked me a few months ago i would have said his brother... but things have gotten a lot better so i'd probably say nothing!

the one thing i would want to change if i could is to make the city we live in now (where i go to school, where FH grew up and where his family lives) closer to NY (where I grew up and where my family lives). Right now it's a 16 hour drive or a 2.5 hour flight.

We don't know where we are going to live once I graduate law school.

i'd have to say his habits...they can anger me quite a bit

his job.....he makes really really great money - great base salary, ridiculous overtime BUT he works really hard for it - and he works A LOT of hours.....i wish he had more time to relax, de-stress and do the things that he likes to do....i wish he could have more of a social life and i wish we could have more time together - so i would change his job - but just the hours - not the money!

His habits definitely...He has some that make me want to beat him up

Most definitely habits.

Hangs his wet towel over the bathroom door. It is now warped and doesn't close properly.
Flicks his towel after a shower, so now there are hairs on the ceiling and flecks of towel lint.
Forgets how to use a vacuum cleaner.
Forgets how to use a duster.
Blows his nose so loud you'd think the Queen Mary was docking nearby.

I did get him to :
Get dressed in the living room when going to work (he gets up at 4:00am)
Put his dishes in the sink (working on how to use the dish soap and drainer)
Take out the garbage before it stinks.
Actually walk to the door to ask me if I need help carrying groceries / laundry up the stairs.
Wipe out the sink after shaving.

You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Just takes persistance.

i said habits bc there are little things i'd like him to do differently, but i won't throw him under the bus by getting into detail on the internet.

for the most part, i'm blessed to have him. he's a doll!

Okay maybe I would ike it if he ate more veggies. But otherwise Im good with how he is!!

i chose habits because he's messy and his eating/drinking habits leave something to be desired... i often wonder about what they mean for his health in the future.
