If you could have done 1 thing differently at your wedding, what would it be?

Original post by EJSD2006

I would've gone around and taken pictures with every table. The night went sooooo quickly that DH and I didnt even have time to take pics with everyone.

What about you guys?

I would have gotten dressed ON TIME instead of dealing with SIL's missing skirt issue

As amazing and perfect as the day was, I would've eloped and saved myself the cumbersome planning and just had a nice private destination wedding/honeymoon. It's what I wanted all along, but DH insisted on the more traditional approach.

GAVE THE PHOTOGRAPHER AN OUTLINE OF PICS OF WHAT I WANTED

BUT MY WEDDING WAS PERFECT!!!

Not spent so much money on a guest book..... Not many people signed it at all. I feel like its a waste. I would have done without a guestbook.

totally agree! get a cheap one!

I would have spent less time going around the tables. Sometimes people would start blabbing and I didn't want to be rude and cut them off. I should have moved along a little quicker though. The night is so short try to enjoy every minute of it.

This happened to me too and it got worse as the night went on because people were getting drunk. It was a little annoying because we got very little time to dance and enjoy the wedding.

I also would've had some dessert and made sure to see the Viennese. I got pulled away as we were headed that way, and I never even got to see the room. This makes me sad because I heard it was lit up beautifully.

Lastly, I would've tried to add an extra hour to the reception. I was finally having such a good time and it was over - just one extra hour would've been perfect.

ETA: and I would've had more cake. We ended the cake cutting and feeding quickly because I really don't like being the center of attention, but then I never got a chance to have anymore - and cake is my favorite food.
