It's insane in the membrane!

Tough question, Maybe Florence.

If I was independently wealthy and didn't have to work, I would love to live on an island somewhere- laying on the beach, enjoying the simple things in life.

But I could get bored there. I love Paris a few years ago (now the politics there are going a little nutty).

If it were my own personal utopia, I would buy Mayor Bloomie's place in Bermuda....

otherwise San Diego is cool..... wouldn't mind some place in southwest where I can have a lot of land and a decent climate either.

Definitely the pacific northwest - a little bungalow nestled in the mountains or reachable only by kayak...

by the water, the beach, a place with lots of flowers and trees, clean water, nice restaurants nearby, i'd like a carribean island, but carmel or monteray would be cool. but then again, there is something about the tuscan countryside or the mediterranean sea...

I don't know...northern Italy or Montana or Canada. Somewhere where there is no 'rat race' yet it's not a hick town either.

In beautiful Victorian House on a farm with a stream and lake small enough for me to swim, big enough for my husband to fish in!! With horses and our dogs and cats that could be outside whenever they want!! (Suspiciously sounds a lot like a friends house in Maine that I love visiting!!)

I would love to live somewhere surrounded by animals like the Galapagos Islands or in Africa with Chimps.
