Did the hall add in extras? It doesn't look like i'm even coming close to my minimum (very sad about it) So i was wondering if the hall does anything since they are not putting a plate in front of someone. Has this happened to anyone?

That happened to me. I promised 150 and had to pay for 150...even though I had 140. Then, instead of my vendors being half price, I counted them in the count and I was up to 147 or so. There were about 4 dinners that I paid for that werent eaten. But, my hall gave seconds and LOTS of guests had seconds, so it mae up for it

you can maybe upgrade certain things for your CH and or have them add a bottle of wine to each table - talk to your hall - I am sure they can throw something it

Did you count your vendors too? Are there any 'B list' people you can invite now or guests for people who have already been invited?

I have heard that some halls will-if youdont reach your minimum-throw something in extra for you. Ask your BM and see, myabe they will give you chair covers or throw in the Viennese hour-cant hurt to ask.

My sister was about 10 under and her hall threw in this ceiling decoration thing and extra stations at the CH. You just have to ask. Since they're getting the $$ anyway, they might as well give you something for it. I'm sure if you ask in advance they will accomodate.

yup this happened to me - the hall didnt do extras for us - the did send my family home with tons of doggie plates my grammy ate filet mignon for a full moth LOL
i second the LIW table thing - alot of gals here will come if you open it up to CALLING ALL LIW GALS _ WHO WANTS TO COME
we had an liw table and it was alot of fun to meet the gals
