Yes. OPK's detect a rising level of LH in your system. If you do not ovulate then there will be no rise to see.

I liked this ovulation kit, but what I found to be really helpful was taking my temp for a few months so that I could truly see what my cycle is like, I never like to rely on scientifically made items, it;s better to do it the old fashion way, after 2 months you'll now your body!! Good luck, basal temp reading got me pregnant quick and I have my 16 month old to prove it!!!

emilain: you just took your temp daily?

by mouth or used one that checks it by putting it into your ear?

you have to buy a 'basal thermometer'. You can get it at any drug store. You take your temp every morning at the same time, before you get up and move around (this means every day including weekends, you may have to set your alarm if you wak up earlier during the weekdays). Your temps will remain consistent over the first few days after your period, then it will rise, after the increase it will drop and that means tht you ovulated on the days when your temp was higher. When your temp remains higher than normal and never drops, this usually indicates pregnancy. This is an old fashion way to do it, but it is pretty accurate and really helps you figure out the days that you ovulate. If you track it over a few months you will llikely see a trend. I ovulated on day 15 most of the time.FM me if I can be of more help!!!
