ask the RH to add stuff to balance out the difference? Past brides have any luck with this?

i've known girls who've been able to get things like an upgrade menu item---a chocolate fountain---more dinner choices---extended CH---vienesse hour--things like that. (of course just like ONE of these things not all of them!)
it never hurts to try and negotiate!

they usually will hook you up and throw in some extras-- also, sometimes you can use your minimum towards vendor meals so you don't have to pay extra-- although vendor meals are less than what you pay for your guests-- it's still less money.
